How the work is structured
If you are unsure whether psychotherapy is the right form of support, we begin with two or three initial consultation sessions. Together we assess your situation and consider what steps would be most helpful. These consultations do not commit you to starting therapy.
The work is conducted from an integrative perspective, combining elements of psychodynamic, cognitive-behavioural and humanistic approaches, tailored to your individual needs and goals. Particular attention is given to the therapeutic relationship, to new emotional experiences, and to developing different ways of seeing yourself.
All therapeutic work is conducted under regular supervision.
An affirming practice
We work with a sex-positive, LGBTQ+ affirming approach and welcome clients regardless of sexual orientation, gender identity or relationship structure — including same-sex, polyamorous and other consensually non-monogamous relationships.
Couples therapy in English
Couples therapy is available for partners who want to improve communication, understand each other's needs and emotions better, and break out of recurring conflicts. Sessions last 75 minutes. Cross-cultural differences in how conflict, family obligation and independence are understood often turn out to be part of the picture, and are a legitimate subject for the work.
